ITSA FIXED

ITSA FIXED

As promised our NEW chapter of the ITSA movement is up and running and we have achieved our
first objective of coming up with some firm dates for our premier season of 2012.  The No1 task was
to find 5 x 2 Day Trials that we could run in our area voided by Ahrma, namely UT, CO, and NM. Of
course there are tons of venues but overuse can soon ruin excellent trials land and owner's
hospitality. At the proposed end of season "wash-up" members will be invited to suggest where
they would like to ride in coming years and if they so wish can step up as potential organizers and
Trialsmasters.

I'll just toss a couple of venues in that are excellent in all respects and please feel free to email me
with your own favorite sites and we can then offer them up as a "list" for future consideration. Mine
are as follows;

Holbrook AZ

Private land on I40, prime trials land, mainly rocks, large flat parking area, RV friendly, good cheap
lodging and restaurants in Holbrook. Used in the past as a combined 2 Day site for Central Arizona
Trials (CAT) and NMTA. Limitless sections of all levels up to National

Rocks and sand at Holbrook

Fantastic sections everywhere you look at Holbrook

Alto Pit, Prescott AZ

USFS dedicated motorcycle off-road area. Set up in a pine forest with RV/Camping sites picnic tables, chemical toilets, etc. Virtually limitless trials sections, mainly rocks in the pine trees, some good
climbs through the trees, rideable washes with roots and rocks, great route/loop riding. Up to
National standard.

Delightful setting riding the rocks in a pine forest

Ideal summer riding in the cool of the pines at 6000'

Tucker Ranch, Cotopaxi CO

Gorgeous trials land and loop riding, privately owned by the Tucker family. Hill top parking at around
8000', interesting drive in !!  Sections of all ability levels, and many more yet to be found. A little
overused this year but a must for 2013.

    I'm in.
The two-day event format sealed the deal as Montana is a drive and a half.
I'm prepping my Honda looking forward to a summer challenge.
A good thing for a retired Aviator.
